Where do you offer dog walking?
Our focus is Folsom and El Dorado Hills. Share your neighborhood and preferred days so we can confirm coverage.
How much does a walk cost?
Our introductory prices for one dog are $18 for 20 minutes, $22 for 30 minutes, and $30 for 45 minutes. Have more than one dog? Set a time to connect and we’ll talk through pricing for your household.
Can I meet the person walking my dog?
Yes. Before the first walk, we arrange an introduction so you can meet the walker and discuss your dog’s routine, equipment, and behavior. A booking depends on a suitable match.
Are there breeds you don’t walk?
Due to insurance constraints, we can’t walk Pit Bull-type dogs (American Pit Bull Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier, Staffordshire Bull Terrier, and American Bully), Rottweilers, Doberman Pinschers, Akitas, Chow Chows, Cane Corsos, Presa Canarios, Dogo Argentinos, Belgian Malinois, Dutch Shepherds, Siberian Huskies, Alaskan Malamutes, and wolf hybrids, including known mixes. We also can’t take dogs whose bite history, lunging, or pulling requires handling beyond what our walkers can safely provide. This isn’t an indication of an individual dog’s temperament. We love your pup just the same and thank you for understanding!
What if my dog pulls or reacts to other dogs?
Tell us before arranging a meeting. We do not accept dogs with a bite history, aggressive behavior, repeated lunging, or pulling that exceeds our walkers’ handling ability. Being outside the breed exclusion list does not guarantee acceptance.
What should I have ready for a walk?
Have your dog’s properly fitted harness or collar and leash ready. Share dietary restrictions, relevant veterinary instructions, and any triggers the walker should avoid. We discuss access and emergency contacts privately before service begins.
Do you offer pet waste removal?
Yes. Weekly pickup is $16 for one dog, $18 for two, and $20 for three in a typical yard. See pet waste removal prices for other schedules.

When is it too hot to walk my dog?
Air temperature alone cannot tell you whether a walk is safe. Hot surfaces and your dog’s health matter too. Choose cooler hours, check conditions before leaving, and shorten or skip the outing when needed. Ask your veterinarian about your dog’s particular heat risks.
How do I protect my dog’s paws from hot pavement?
Avoid hot asphalt and concrete. If the surface feels too hot for your hand, keep your dog off it. Choose a cooler surface or postpone the walk. A comfortable surface does not mean the air is safe for exercise.
What signs of overheating should I watch for?
Unusual heavy panting, drooling, weakness, vomiting, confusion, or stumbling need immediate attention. If you suspect overheating, stop exercise, move your dog somewhere cool, and contact an emergency veterinarian immediately. Do not wait to see whether it passes.
How can I keep my dog occupied when it’s too hot to walk?
Try a simple indoor scent game, a suitable food puzzle, or a short reward-based practice session. Supervise new toys, follow dietary restrictions, and let your dog rest. See our indoor enrichment ideas.
