Look at the current weather, the walking surface, and the rules for the specific place you want to visit. A map can show you where a path goes. It cannot tell you how your dog will handle it today.

City of Folsom Parks & Recreation is a starting point for official park and trail information. El Dorado Hills CSD park rules explain district expectations, including dog-park guidance.
Rules can differ by land manager. Check the signs at the place you visit; do not assume a city park rule also applies to state recreation land.
